Building Math Structures

In this activity, we hope to transform typical, 2-dimensional textbook material into 3-dimensional, hands-on objects that you can touch, feel, and experience.

Levels 1-5 (Fall 2017)

Use trigonometry to determine the distance between two locations on a complex, K'NEX structure.

Level 10 (New: Spring 2018)

Now, suppose that you twist a structure. How can you use trigonometry to predict the change in appearance of the structure?
