Las Positas Math Society

The Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society is a national honor society. Any student at Las Positas with a 3.0 GPA in all math courses from College Algebra/Pre-Calculus and above. Club membership shows on your transcript which is beneficial when applying for a transfer. Also a certificate of membership is awarded to all members at the end of the year. Joining Mu Alpha Theta is not a requirement to attend meetings for the Las Positas Math Society; however members of Las Positas Math Society who are eligible for Mu Alpha Theta membership are encouraged to join. There is a one time membership joining fee of $10.
